Well, the presidential nominees have been named. Don’t hold me to this but from the reaction in the room there may not be a run-off. Dr. Frank Page may have won it outright. I could be wrong, but . . .

And by the way, now that we’ve voted, I will say my choice was Dr. Page. Despite his views on election, I believe he is the best choice for SBC President. He is not a part of the established power structure, and that’s a very good thing.

UPDATE: Art Rogers at 12 Witnesses is also predicting no run-off.
