Sovereign Grace Ministries is finishing up work on an exciting project. They will release a CD based on the book of prayers The Valley of Vision, a book I personally use for my times of private worship. Sovereign Grace Ministries have posted audio samples of a few tracks and an interesting video trailer showing an inside look at the project here. The CD is scheduled for release in time for the WorshipGod ’06 conference in August, which I am very much looking forward to.

If you don’t have a copy of the book The Valley of Vision, you get pick one up here. I recommend the bonded leather edition because it is a little more rugged, but there is also a paperback version.

The book and upcoming CD will be helpful to you in your personal worship times. And speaking of personal worship, I hope to soon begin posting small “worship orders” which you may find useful for personal worship. They’ll be brief, but hopefully meaningful and useful in nurturing your relationship with God. I’m not going to commit to putting one out every day, but hopefully a few times a week. In the interest of full disclosure, I’ll be doing these for myself more than I will for this blog, but my prayer will be that you’ll be able to use them, too. Let me know what you think.
